China International Commodity Center (CICC) is a fully owned subsidiary of Shanghai Wai Gaoqiao Free Trade Zone Development Co., Ltd. China International Commodity Center (CICC), jointly established by Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Shanghai Pudong New Area Government, is located in Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, covering an area of about 120,000 square meters (the largest bonded area in China). It is the only integrative national-level trade platform embodying bonded exhibition, trade, trade service in present China.
The main functions of CICC are bonded exhibition and trading service, which help reduce the exhibition and promotion cost of the imported goods, At the same time, with help of the International trade characterized by Waigaoqiao FTZ port logistics, CICC also plays positive role in accelerating the pace of building Shanghai as an international trade center.
In addition to the long-term bonded exhibition, the exhibits in CICC can also take part in the short-term exhibition held outside FTZ under bonded status, which offers a green channel for overseas products to enter FTZ or attend exhibitions at home and abroad.
